Carolyn's Promotion!

Tonight, the girls I work with and I got together to celebrate Carolyn’s promotion! Carolyn and I have worked together for about 3 ½ years now in our classroom and let me tell you, we have had a blast doing it! We have seen so many babies grow up! (some are even in preschool getting ready for Kindergarten now!!) This fall, Carolyn was given the opportunity to apply for a management position within the building and even though none of us ever doubted it, she got it! She will be working on overseeing the program at the center.

Ahhhh….what can I say about “my most favorite Carolyn?” Well, she is the best damn coworker a girl could ask for. She was patient with me while I was learning the ins and outs of working with babies, and she has always been patient (and caring!) through my tough times. She has also been an amazing friend, to say the very least. So, with a happy heart I congratulate her on her promotion, but I will also miss the hell out of her every single day! It will be a hard change spending 40 hours a week for almost four years with her and having that change, but I know this is what Carolyn needs to do, it’s her calling! At least she is only right around the corner at work!

Seriously, who could resist that face! (or lack of! tee hee!) She was trying to avoid my pictures!



So Carolyn, CONGRATS lady! I am so proud of you and know you will shine as Program Coordinator! I am so excited to see what you will do for the center!
